A little background
My education as an architect was the beginning of my formal exploration of basic forms and pleasing proportions. I was always drawn to the elegantly simple, unadorned solutions exemplified by Scandinavian, Japanese, Dutch and German architecture and industrial design. I have participated in the Louisville arts scene for over thirty years, exhibiting photography, drawings, sculpture, and graphic design as well as jewelry. The work produced by my multi-disciplinary design company, GOOD IDEA!, emphasizes unique design solutions and unexpected use of materials.

My jewelry reflects my love of sculptural and architectural forms and my pleasure in creating entirely new ways to combine familiar materials. Each piece is made by hand—either custom milled or turned on a lathe and then hand-finished in a variety of textures. The metal is aluminum and each design is one-of-a-kind. My designs appeal to women and men who appreciate modern design and enjoy the attention that wearing art generates. Prices range from relatively inexpensive to moderately expensive, depending on materials and complexity. Many necklace designs incorporate magnetic or friction closures of my own design and manufacture. My unique jewelry is available in museums, galleries and retail stores around the country.

The online store is open for business. If you have a PayPal account, you can now buy directly from my online store. As with any new venture there may be a glitch or two, but I'll work out any problems immediately. These items are only available online—they will not be available at any of my dealers or show venues. For now automated cart sales are available only to US shipping destinations—for other countries I'll need to arrange shipping costs privately by email before an order can be placed.
